If you're using RO water or live in a soft water area, your tank is likely stripped of the minerals that plants and shrimp need to thrive. Standard remineralisers do raise GH, but many of them also affect KH and pH — throwing off the carefully calibrated balance of your fertiliser regimen and water parameters.
APT SKY PLUS solves this more intelligently. As a GH booster, it's approximately 3x more concentrated than conventional products. Each dose of 3.5 g (5 ml) per 60 litres adds 12 ppm calcium and 3.5 ppm magnesium, raising GH by 2.5 dGH. Unlike the original APT SKY, APT SKY PLUS moderately raises KH to ~2 dKH and buffers pH to the 7.2–7.6 range — ideal for tanks with guppies, mollies, snails, and most hardwater plants.
The formula also includes key trace elements — iron, boron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, and seaweed extract — to support overall plant and shrimp health. It has no effect on NPK values, so it won't interfere with your fertiliser balance.
The powder dissolves easily — you can add it directly to the tank or dissolve it in a small container of water first.
Standard starting dose: 15 ml (approx. 10.5 g) per 60 litres with RO water. Use the manufacturer's dosing calculator for precise adjustment.
