• Calvus Stone Cave M: 12 x 12 x 4cm

These caves are tailored for Calvus cichlids, Altolamprologus calvus, providing an ideal breeding environment. The female utilizes these caves during spawning, safeguarding eggs within unreachable hollows. Each cave boasts a unique, stone-like exterior, while the interior is smooth to prevent fish injuries, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Enhance your Calvus Caves by adorning them with various aquatic plants and mosses such as java moss or anubias. Secure these additions using aquarium glue or fishing line initially, allowing them to naturally intertwine with the caves over time. The porous ceramic structure not only facilitates plant attachment but also acts as a biological filter.
