Description
The Me CO2 Regulator Basic is a single-chamber CO2 pressure regulator for refillable bottles with a W21.8 connection. It has two gauges for bottle and working pressure, a fine-adjustment valve and a robust metal housing.
For a first pressurised CO2 system you don't need a solenoid or smart features, just a reliable way to feed a steady amount of CO2 to your plants. The Basic does exactly that. If you want CO2 to switch off at night on a timer, choose the Me CO2 Regulator Ultra with built-in solenoid valve.

How to set it up
- Screw the regulator onto the bottle's W21.8 valve.
- Connect the tubing, bubble counter, check valve and diffuser.
- Open the bottle slowly and check the working pressure.
- Set the bubble rate with the fine-adjustment valve, then adjust gradually over a few days while watching the drop checker.

Does it have a solenoid valve?
No. CO2 runs continuously. For night switch-off on a timer, choose the Me CO2 Regulator Ultra.
Single-chamber or double-chamber – what's the difference?
In a single-chamber regulator the working pressure can change slightly as the bottle runs low, so check the bubble rate when the bottle is nearly empty. Double-chamber regulators keep it constant until the end.
Does it fit disposable CO2 cartridges?
No, it is made for refillable bottles with a W21.8 connection.
