Description

The Me Syphon-Vac is a manual siphon gravel cleaner for aquariums. It combines a suction tube, a 2.5 m flexible hose and a built-in shut-off valve, so you can clean the substrate and do a water change in one step.

Waste settles between gravel grains, where filters can't reach it. The Syphon-Vac pulls it out while the heavier gravel falls back, and the valve lets you pause without losing the siphon.

How to use it

  1. Place a bucket lower than the aquarium.
  2. Start the siphon and push the tube into the gravel.
  3. Let debris rise, then lift the tube before gravel follows and move to the next spot.
  4. Use the valve to slow the flow near plants or small fish, and to stop it when the bucket is full.

Tip for aquasoil and planted tanks

Don't dig into aquasoil. Hover the tube just above the surface so you remove debris without breaking up the granules or releasing nutrients.
