Small aquariums deserve serious filtration. The OASE FiltoSmart 60 is a compact external canister filter built specifically for nano and small aquarium setups up to 60 litres — where space matters, but water quality is non-negotiable.
At 300 l/h with only 5 W of power consumption, it cycles your entire water volume nearly five times per hour — silently, efficiently, and without cluttering your setup. It sits discreetly next to or behind the aquarium, or attaches directly to the glass with the optional bracket (sold separately).
Inside, a three-stage filtration system handles everything: mechanical filtration via 20 PPI foam traps debris before it reaches the bio media, biological filtration via ceramic rings supports a thriving colony of nitrifying bacteria, and chemical filtration keeps water polished and clear. Whether you're keeping plants, shrimp, or fish — or all three — the FiltoSmart 60 maintains the stable water chemistry they need.
Setup is fast thanks to the self-priming function — no manual siphoning required. Maintenance is just as straightforward: the EasyClick mechanism opens the canister without tools, media lifts out in seconds, rinses clean, and goes straight back in.
