Detailed product description

Master Soil is a Japanese aquarium substrate that naturally regulates water parameters by reducing pH, GH, and KH levels. It is rich in plant nutrients like fulvic and humic acids, as well as essential minerals, and contains a higher nutrient concentration than comparable substrates like Platinum Soil. Suitable for planted tanks, as well as breeding ornamental bee shrimps and tropical fish, Master Soil is designed to support healthy aquatic environments.

Produced in Japan from natural soil, Master Soil has exceptional absorption properties and high porosity. Its structure prevents anaerobic zones, promoting rapid bacterial colonization. The bacteria help quickly decompose ammonia (NH4+) and nitrite (NO2), resulting in extended intervals between water changes.

Grain Sizes and Bag Options:
Master Soil is available in three grain sizes:

  • Super powder: 1.0 – 2.0 mm
  • Powder: 2.5 – 3.0 mm
  • Normal: 4.0 – 5.0 mm

Bag Capacities:

  • 8 liters
  • 3 liters

Key Benefits:

  • Quickly clears and stabilizes water
  • Removes wood tannins from tank roots
  • Lowers and stabilizes pH, GH, and KH
  • Porous structure encourages nitrifying bacteria
  • High nutrient content for plants
  • Long-lasting substrate

Important Notes:
For optimal results, use the entire contents upon opening, as drying can cause granules to break. Store in the original, ventilated packaging if needed. Avoid combining Master Soil with other substrates or additional ballast. Use only in freshwater tanks for ornamental fish and plants, and keep away from pH or KH-lowering chemicals to maintain stability.
