Because of their shape they are really good for community pleco tanks because you can stack them up in many shapes so that all the plecos can have their own cave to be comfortable in

Unlike most ceramic caves that are pretty thin this one is fairly thick so the bigger catfish can’t move it also the opening is too small for fish on the bigger side so the small ones can have some privacy in there. Perfect for breeding plecos that stay small insize.

Because of the size of the opening smaller plecos have plenty of space just for them without having a really long cave in the tank where they can be harassed by the bigger ones also it’s shape is very versatile you can put it standing or in between other decorations to make even more space for your plecs to hide in
